About Me

An introduction to the cripple...

Hi! My name is Lithia. I am mom to a 9.5-month-old named Wesley, a dedicated accounting student, an avid content creator, and, “most remarkably, a cripple”.

(I can say it, you can’t).

I navigate life on a daily as a double amputee, and I’m never seen without my bestie, a neon green wheelchair, Bastille. Get it? My wheelchair's name is a joke; because Bastille was a PRISON.

I have many passions in life. However, the three things I am most dedicated to are motherhood, sharing my story to raise awareness against SW (if you know, you know), advocating for those struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges (specifically bipolar and borderline personality disorders), and creating the life I know I deserve.

I’ve been a content creator for nearly four years, starting on TikTok before shifting exclusively to Instagram. My journey has been far from linear. After a suicide attempt in 2021, several of my videos went viral as I openly shared my struggles with mental health, addiction, and the change into life as an amputee. At the time, I wasn’t using social media in a healthy way—I fed into my own chaos, and people followed for the spectacle.

The turning point came six months ago after my brother passed away. I realized I was stuck in cycles of self-destruction and needed to change. Since then, I’ve worked hard on my self-growth, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Now, my content focuses on inspiring others to start their own self-growth journey—building confidence, prioritizing themselves, and breaking free from whatever’s holding them back. I aim to share the raw, unfiltered truth so others know it’s okay to not be okay.

But, to do that and achieve my goals, I need to better hone in on how to brand myself, so I can in return reach my target audience; quite frankly the only thing that makes me excited for this class (because it was 100% a required class). Marketing is the most important way to spread your presence online. I need the skills to succeed as a creator, and honestly, anywhere that I will be perceived so...everywhere.
